May 17-19, 2024
Reclamation is a body of work focused on how intuition can guide one in trusting their voice and story and a framework to support you in bringing your writing project to fruition. Reclamation, an online weekend mindfulness and writing retreat, is an opportunity for you to connect more deeply with your intuition and strengthen trust in your voice so you can listen more clearly to the story that is moving through you.
This carefully designed online retreat will leave room for ease, focus, and productivity as we reclaim all the parts of who we are, including the part of us who is a storyteller and writer.
We will gather on Friday afternoon for a 2-hour session to build community, create some shared community care practices, and begin our journey with contemplative and self-reflective practices. We will end this session with a rest practice meant to inspire your dreams and get the creative juices flowing.
We will meet again on Saturday morning, we will gather again for an online movement practice intended to inspire creativity and allow the emergence of the story that is moving through you now. What project is emerging? What writing project is in the portal or process of becoming at this time?
On Saturday afternoon, we will move through a shamanic journey to meet your writing allies and a period of silence to allow for further contemplation and reflection. You will then be guided to write and allow the words to flow.
On Sunday morning, we will begin with a meditation and breakout groups to share some of your writing and focus on the next steps for your writing project.
This retreat will be an intimate experience with a maximum of twelve people in attendance.
Prior to the retreat, you will receive an online packet of information meant to support you during our retreat.

This Retreat Is Not for People Who:
Are working on a writing project that doesn’t inspire them. Reclamation is a process rooted in the heart, spirit, and intuition. It is a process meant to get us to the truth that wants to be communicated through words and writing.
Have to dip in and out of our sacred container. This retreat is meant to be an uninterrupted and focused space for you and the other participants. Life does happen, and I completely understand if unanticipated things emerge in our space.
Believe that criticism is the way to thrive. While feedback is an important process of the writing process, I believe in creating a supportive environment for us to witness one another and be witnessed in our creative process.
Don’t want to share their work with others. While I will not force you to share, sharing is a big part of being witnessed. We will have group guidelines and community care practices designed to create a supportive sharing environment.
